Who we are

FirstGlance ("we", "us") provides a morning email digest that summarises recent activity from tools you connect (such as Notion, Trello, Stripe, HubSpot, Shopify, and Google Calendar). Contact: mehulgup1001@gmail.com. Website: https://www.firstglance.page.

Information we collect

• Account data: email address used to sign in (magic link), timezone, plan status, and digest preferences.
• Connection credentials: API tokens, OAuth tokens, and related keys you paste or authorise for integrations (Notion, Shopify, Stripe, HubSpot, Trello, Google Calendar, and others we add).
• Activity used to build digests: recent content or events returned by those APIs (for example page edits, orders, deals, calendar events), processed to generate your email.
• Usage / ops data: sync timestamps, error messages, and basic server logs needed to run and debug the service.
• Waitlist data: if you join the Pro waitlist, your email and the time you joined.

How we protect your API tokens

We encrypt your Notion/Shopify/Stripe (and other integration) API tokens using AES-256 encryption (AES-256-GCM) and never store them in plaintext. Tokens are decrypted only in memory when fetching activity for your digest. We do not show saved tokens back in the dashboard after you save them.

Where a provider allows it, we recommend using read-only credentials so a compromised token cannot change or delete data in your tools.

Security limitations

No online service can guarantee absolute security. Encryption and access controls reduce risk but do not eliminate it. You are responsible for choosing appropriate scopes (prefer read-only), rotating credentials if you suspect exposure, and disconnecting integrations you no longer need. How we use data

• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Fetch and summarise the last ~24 hours of connected-tool activity
• Send the morning digest email at your local 6 AM
• Enforce free/Pro connection limits and prevent credential reuse abuse
• Improve reliability and fix bugs
• Contact you about the Pro waitlist or important service changes

We use Google Gemini to generate digest text from the activity excerpts we fetch. That content is sent to Google's API for summarisation.

Processors / subprocessors

We use trusted providers to operate FirstGlance, including:

• Supabase — authentication and database
• Vercel — hosting
• Resend — transactional email
• Google (Gemini) — AI summarisation
• Polar (or another merchant of record we designate) — if/when paid Pro billing is enabled
• Connected third-party APIs you authorise (Notion, Shopify, Stripe, HubSpot, Trello, Google, etc.)

Data retention

We keep account and connection data while your account is active. Digest-related activity is fetched on demand for each send and is not kept as a long-term archive of your workspace content beyond what is needed to operate the service (such as sync status and errors). You may disconnect integrations or request account deletion at any time.

Your choices

• Disconnect any integration from the dashboard
• Change timezone or disable digests via your account settings paths
• Request access, correction, or deletion of your account by emailing mehulgup1001@gmail.com

Children

FirstGlance is intended for adults and business use. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
